BP Makes ';Giant'; Oil Find in Gulf of Mexico, Hoax?

Due to the increasing concern over 'peak oil' it is logical to assume that this discovery is nothing more than a lie in order to quell the increasing tension peak oil and the energy crisis presents.





It seems too good to be true, convenient almost.





Seeing as how the layperson would not be able to identify whether or not this discovery actually exists, it would be very easy for the government to manufacture this lie to maintain order.

I'm not an oil expert but recently Brazil has made a huge offshore oil discovery. The Chinese are drilling off Cuba in international waters and within two hundred miles of our coastline. Mexico has found oil off shore. Seems to me that BP shouldn't have any trouble locating oil. The only people seeming to have trouble finding oil is the U.S. and only because the stupid greenies in this country don't want us to drill offshore because they can't enjoy the view with oil rigs that they can't see on the horizon. There is no alternative fuel to oil right now or even in the near future. We need domestic oil and if we continue on our path of not drilling for oil, we will increasingly be beholden to people who hate us for our energy. But then, I suppose that's what libs want anyway.
I think that somehow the world energy cartel will parlay this into a justification on why oil prices will skyrocket again. They'll claim that the sudden potential supply will cause major producers to pull back on their output. Then the prices will be so high and profits will be so huge that there will be no reason to release the new oil into the market. And there it will sit...in the imaginations of the rich oil men.
I don't why else all these countries are spending billions looking and drilling for oil in the gulf, maybe because of the decades of instability in the middle east where we get our oil from now?





Besides, we currently have the largest oil reserve in the form of shale on the planet right now and it is only a matter of time when the middle east oil wells go dry, we'll start extracting oil from our shales and where will we be then?

I heard about a natural gas find around the Cuban coast and expected natural gas around the Florida coast.





But that is about it.
It is a hoax that we are running out of oil.
