Did the former Prime minister receive a payment from BP in relation to the libyan oil deal?

I am aw ere there are three living former PMs, but sure someone will guess which one I am referring too!.

I have seen these allegations posted on the net, I can only say '; hope they are false!.

Whatever the right and wrongs concerning the release of the alleged lockabee bomber, the libyan affair sounds very '; fishy to me!.

The latest I have seen on the web says '; SAS Is training the libyan army!.Did the former Prime minister receive a payment from BP in relation to the libyan oil deal?
He may not have received a direct cash payment. He definitely made a political decision he believed would help his political career regardless of the immoral nature of the decision.Did the former Prime minister receive a payment from BP in relation to the libyan oil deal?
There are so many pieces of the jigsaw with this one that I don't think we'll ever see the full picture.

I would not be surprised at all if a deal was done though. Fact is these days, oil is worth a lot more than morals.
How much greed, fraud and selfishness do people have to see from MP,s before they realise government is not about the electorate it is about money.

If you are not rich then no one represents you and voting conservatives next time round would be even worse.....
To whom to you refer ? Heavens to betsy ! What a thought
The person of whom you talk is far too cunning to take any cash or other obvious payment. No doubt some inducement was given, we might find out in a hundred years or if the Mad Mullah who runs Libya or his equally mad son decide to reveal all at some stage.
